SUBLIMATION DESIGNS

Sublimation is a process of printing a design and pressing it onto the shirt.  When the ink from the print is heated it transfers into the fiber of the shirt.  You can't feel the design!  This is a great way to get a full-color design that could be as specific as a photograph you've taken.

Sublimation shirts are normally pressed onto shirts that have a high polyester count, because the ink transfers better into the polyester fiber.  I can print sublimation designs on shirts as low as a 50% polyester count - but the lower the polyester count, the more likely the design is to fade a little.  A 100% polyester shirt will have a brighter color, lower polyester count shirts will have a more vintage look.
